Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it’s my favorite time of year again…that period between Halloween and New Year’s day. I think it’s just me loving fall and winter…the holidays during this period are like icing on the cake.
I don’t necessarily celebrate Thanksgiving in the historical sense; I really don’t believe the wonderful, and oh so happy story that we’re taught as children about the Pilgrims and Native Americans. I just use this holiday as a day to be thankful, and spend time with family and friends.
I’ll spend the day simply being thankful for my life; with its ups and downs, triumphs and struggles. It’s not a perfect life, and there’s more struggle than triumph…but I’m thankful for it nonetheless. I’ll be cooking, watching football, listening to music and having a good time with some of my favorite people. You know…just chillin’!
Here are the main things that I’m thankful for:
- I am thankful that I have knowledge of God and his love, knowledge and love of self, and people to share my love with.
- I am thankful for my beautiful children. That they are all healthy and happy.
- I am thankful for my intuition…and that I’ve learned to “listen” to myself and discern what I’m hearing. This has become so important to me lately.
To anyone that reads this…I’m thankful for you as well. Thanks for dropping by and reading my deepest, darkest and innermost thoughts! Actually, I just skim the surface here…nothing deep, dark or sordid. Just me being random!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Smooches!
